Transistor is the key building block of all microchips and basis of almost all electronics.the researchers of manchester university discovered the world smallest transistor.one atom size thick and 10 atom size wide of transistor is made from graphene.grapene is a single layer of graphite found in pencil.the mobility of electrons in graphene is 10 times better than silicon.it will conduct electricity very fastly in the transistor.so,silicon will be replaced by graphene in future.
